All Saints pupils are smoothie operators

editorial image

PEDAL power provided an energy boost at a Morpeth school as pupils created their own smoothies.

Staff from Real Food Works visited All Saints First School in Lancaster Park last term to talk to children about healthy eating.

And they took along their special smoothie bike to add to the fun.

The bike is fitted with a blender that works by pedalling and mixes up delicious fruit smoothies in time.

Children chose their favourite fruit to make the healthy drink, then pedalled away for a few minutes to create their refreshing treat.
