Alpacas a hit at Morpeth farm market - VIDEO

ANIMALS native to the Andes proved a big draw at Morpeth farmers' market.

The alpacas from High Angerton, near Hartburn, were making their debut at the monthly event.

Husband and wife Debbie and Paul Rippon keep 33 of the animals, whose fleece is used to make scarves, hats and other items.

Two of the herd were favourites with adults and children alike when they met crowds in the town's Market Place.
