A SCHEME that helps vision-impaired children in Northumberland has been given a funding boost.

Useful Vision has received £300 from the Lloyds Bank Community Fund.

The organisation provides activities for vision-impaired children across the region, from kayaking to cookery courses, helping them to learn new skills, make friends and gain confidence, as well as enjoy some great days out.
