Bright idea for charity

Have your say

PONTELAND High School recently became a sea of red to raise an excellent total for a good cause.

Instigated by year 11 Bea Holliday, students took part in the British Heart Foundation’s Ramp Up The Red day.

As well as wearing the colour, there were activities such as cake sales and sponsored silences and the pupils collected £1,557.91.
