Burglars raid town pub

BURGLARS launched an early morning raid on a Morpeth pub.

Thieves broke into the Black Bull pub in Bridge Street at about 2.50am on Tuesday.

They stole cash from two gaming machines inside the premises before making off.

Police have appealed for anyone with information about the crime, or who saw anything suspicious, to ring 03456 043043, ext 69191.
