Care home residents moving on

MOST of the residents at a Morpeth care home have found alternative accommodation after a decision was made to close the facility this spring.

The registered provider of Howard Castle, in Dacre Street, European Care (England) Limited, said dwindling numbers was why it was shutting it down.

After searching for other places in Morpeth and Northumberland, only a couple of people living there are now waiting to find a room elsewhere.
