Day off for college students

COLLEGE students have been given an unexpected day off due to adverse weather.

Northumberland College has announced that its Kirkley Hall campus will be closed tomorrow following heavy snow.

It is expected to open again on Wednesday.

The college’s centres in Hexham and Prudhoe will also be closed on Tuesday, but Ashington and Berwick campuses should run as normal. However students are advised to travel from home only if it is safe for them to do so.
