End of one era for the Herald, start of another

TODAY is a historic day for the Morpeth Herald.

This is the final broadsheet edititon before our new compact format is launched next week.

The move comes on the back of extensive research in which readers of the newspaper supported the change.

Easier to handle and more suited to current lifestyles, the new compact Herald will be given a bit of a facelift.

But, while we say goodbye to broadsheet, our commitment to you remains.

We have been bringing you the local news for more than 150 years and our traditional values and unrivalled coverage of news, sport, information and advertising will continue.

We hope you will join us in embracing all the change the Herald brings as we enter a new era for local journalism.

Don’t miss the first issue on March 21 and be sure to let us know what you think.
