Is your man the most romantic in Morpeth?
WE’RE still on the hunt for Morpeth’s Most Romantic Man.
Rutherfords has launched the search for Mr Right in time for Valentine’s Day.
Women are being invited to nominate their husbands and boyfriends for the title.
The lucky winner will receive a fabulous £250 makeover from the prestigious Bridge Street department store’s Brook Taverner menswear department.
As well as the makeover and the title, the winner’s partner will receive a bouquet of flowers from Rutherfords in honour of Valentine’s Day and the couple will be treated to lunch for two in the store’s first-floor restaurant.
To stand a chance of winning, women are asked to outline in no more than 100 words why their other half deserves to be named Morpeth’s Most Romantic Man.
Rutherfords’ co-owner Jane Rutherford, who will head the judging panel, said: “Valentine’s Day is a special time for couples so it would be lovely to hear from ladies singing the praises of their boyfriends and husbands.
“If such a man exists then we think he certainly deserves a special treat for Valentine’s Day.”
Entries should be sent to the Morpeth Herald by Monday, February 4.
The winner will be announced in the Herald on Thursday, February 14.
