Police hunt stable thieves

RURAL stables have been raided by thieves.

Police are investigating the theft of horse equipment from stables near East Shield Hill, Morpeth, overnight between Saturday and Sunday.

Items stolen include 12 black 6ft by 4ft rubber mats used as horse bedding, three red horse rugs and a set of bolt cutters.

Anyone with information about the theft should contact police on 101, ext 69191.
