Pupils impress the competition panel in court contest

A group of students from Chantry Middle School in Morpeth performed well in the regional heat of the Schools Mock Trial contest.

The winners of the heat featuring Northumberland schools impressed again, although this event was won by High Tunstall College of Science, Hartlepool.

The Deputy Lord Lieutenant of Northumberland, Patricia Birtley, presented certificates to all of the schools taking part. The competition is sponsored by the Citizenship Foundation and this heat was also supported by Morpeth Town Council and Rotary Club.
