School closures

OVERNIGHT snow has led to more school closures across Northumberland today.

Tritlington, Ellington, Heddon On The Wall, Grange View, Stamfordham, Pegswood, Longhorsley, Whalton, Morpeth All Saints, Belsay, Cambo, Darras Hall, Ponteland and Morpeth Stobhillgate first schools are all closed.

Richard Coates Middle and Ponteland Middle are also shut.

Morpeth’s King Edward VI School and Ponteland High School are both closed generally, but will be open to students sitting exams.

Acklington First School will open late at 10am.
