COUNCIL customers have been invited to Save Time, Do It Online.
The awareness campaign has been launched by Northumberland County Council after spending a year re-developing its website.
The authority says it is now cheaper, faster and easier to report problems, apply for services, pay bills or access library provision.
Changes have also been made to ensure the site works better on smartphones and tablets.
Council Leader Grant Davey said: “We know the way residents and customers communicate with the council is changing and that’s why we’ve focused on making these important improvements to our website.”
People have been urged to try the online provision instead of calling or visiting the council. Those without internet access at home can use facilities at libraries.
