LIBRARY users are invited to a coffee morning drop-in to learn how to make the most of the web.
Staff at Ponteland Library are inviting people along for a cuppa on Saturday to show them its new look website and how they can use it to find out about opening times, events, groups and book recommendations.
Existing customers can reserve or renew books online, and there is also information on best seller charts and books in the news. It can even be used for family history research.
Northumberland County Council Executive Member for Libraries Neil Bradbury said: “The new website is extremely user-friendly and I’m getting a great response from people about how much easier it is to use.
“If you would like to find out more, why not call in at one of our coffee mornings where our staff will take you through some of the key features of the site and show you how you can use it to get so much more from using the library.”
The coffee morning will run from 10am to noon. To visit the website log onto www.mylibrary.co.uk
