A talking newspaper that is distributed to blind and visually impaired people has changed its way of delivering the news.

Using a Big Lottery grant, Morpeth Talking Newspaper has gone digital and changed from cassettes to memory sticks.

Editor Simon Foley said: “The talking newspaper has improved its recordings by updating to a digital method and has gone the final step by introducing memory sticks as the way to distribute it.”
