A MORPETH mum was given an extra special treat after she was picked as the winner of a luxury hamper.
Mum-of-three Nicola Simpson, of Hebron Road, won the pamper hamper in Sanderson Arcade’s Mother’s Day competition.
She was nominated for the prize by her five-year-old daughter Mia, with a little help from dad Ian.
One-year-old Emma and two-year-old Sam were also delighted to see their mother receive her treats, which included afternoon tea at Eshott Hall, shopping vouchers, chocolates and beauty treatments.
She said: “I am over the moon to win. I had no idea that Mia had entered me. I am so busy all the time it’s lovely to have won such a fantastic treat.”
Nicola was one of dozens of mothers entered for the competition by their children, partners and friends.
Centre Manager Medi Parry said: “We had a fantastic response to the competition and had a really hard decision to make picking out a winner.
“It was lovely to meet Nicola and her family and we hope she enjoys her bit of pampering.”
