Oh what a beautiful night
The Northern Lights put on a spectacular show earlier this week.
Calum Gladstone, from Alnwick, took this stunning picture of the aurora over the upturned boats at Holy Island on Sunday night/Monday morning.
He said: “I got up to the boats for around 11pm. The best of my shots were taken just after midnight, after which the activity settled down and I headed home at around 1.30am.”
Calum posted the image on the Gazette Facebook page, where it attracted hundreds of likes.
