Pair rescued from capsized yacht off the Northumberland coast
Two people have been rescued after their yacht capsized off the Northumberland coast.
Humber Coastguard received a distress call from the vessel at 10.21am.
It capsized between Beadnell Bay and Newton Point.
A local fishing vessel responded and pulled both people from the water.
They were transferred to Seahouses lifeboat and taken to Seahouses harbour where they were met by local coastguard officers.
