Park-home company to support children's charity

A national park-home company, which has two sites in north Northumberland, has chosen to raise funds for a children's charity in 2016.

Wyldecrest Parks has just chosen Dreams Come True as its 2016 Charity of the Year to celebrate the firm’s 15th anniversary.

Valued at around £200million and owned by entrepreneur Alfie Best, Wyldecrest is one of the largest park-home operators in the UK, with 46 residential and holiday mobile-home sites spread across England, Scotland and Wales, including Bockenfield Country Holiday Park in Felton and a retirement site in Wooler.

Throughout 2016, the Essex-based company will be supporting Dreams Come True with numerous fund-raising activities.

The charity works hard to fulfil the dreams of children and young people aged between two and 21 with serious and life-limiting conditions.

The experience of fulfilling a dream has a profound impact on the children, their families, friends and carers, providing a positive focus among countless hospital appointments and lengthy treatments, creating memories for families to treasure in difficult times.
