“With the home closed up and no family able to visit, we thought it would be nice for her friends to see her online at least.”
Audrey was in the Land Army during the Second World War and was an ambulance driver.
Later, she lived in Ponteland where she ran an exclusive fashion shop.
She has lived in the Alnwick area for many years now.
“She is a mother and grandmother and continues to be very active and has good sense of humour,” said Susan. “She loves a sing-song and keeps us all right!”
