The following planning applications have been submitted to Northumberland County Council.

Ellington and Linton: Mr P.J. Page, Amble House, Ellington, first floor extension to form bedroom.

Hepscott: Mr and Mrs Derek Huntley, Langdale, demolition of dwelling and loose boxes and construction of two storey dwelling with attached garage and modified gated entrance.

Morpeth: Barry Wilson, land south west of Townsend Crescent, Kirkhill, Tree Preservation Order application due to unsafe deadwood in crowns and excessive shading to neighbouring gardens, crown clean (remove weak, diseased and dead branches or limbs of the trees), crown thin by 20 per cent, all oak.

Mr T Wylie, 1 Southgate Mews, Tree Preservation Order application to fell two sycamores, one maple and one twin maple, lift one beech to 6m and fell side stem, raise two sycamores to 6m and raise one whitebeam to 5m.

Mr John Stanners, 13 Carlisle View, room and en-suite in roof; Mr Mills, 4 Ridley Close, Springhill, conservatory to rear.

Dr Kevin Yates, 5 Wansbeck Place, retrospective, installation of four rooflights to rear; also Listed Building Consent.

Mr James Waller, Clinton Cards, 2 Bridge Street, advertisement consent for signage one fascia and one hanging above a retail outlet.

Ponteland: Mr Rob Cameron, 24 Edge Hill, Darras Hall, new garage and use previous garage as bedroom.

Mr and Mrs Harman, land east of Prospect Farm, The Avenue, Medburn, residential dwelling at Plot 1, including change of use from meadow to garden.

Mr and Mrs Martin, 183 Middle Drive, proposed kitchen, lounge and bedroom extension at rear and new front porch with tiled roof over existing garage.

Mr and Mrs P Wilcock, 152 Western Way, single storey extension to provide additional garage.

Ms Janet Watson, 81 Kirkley Drive, demolition of detached garage, construction of two storey rear extension, re-siting of conservatory, single storey garage, wc and utility extension to side, new opening to front elevation and pitched roofs to front dormers.

Mr Stephen Holland, Meadowfield House, Meadowfield, change of use of part of building from light industrial (car repair workshop and offices) to micro-brewery with ancillary sales and tasting rooms, installation of external ventilation ducting.

Stannington: Holiday Inn Newcastle, Holiday Inn, Fisher Lane, Seaton Burn, ground floor leisure extension, first floor bedroom terraces with associated internal and external alterations.

Thirston: Mr William Kiely, land west of Burgham Park, change of use to residential by way of erecting an enabling development of 14 detached executive homes.

Ulgham: Mr Patrick Lavery, land south of The Old Farmhouse, erection of dormer bungalow with double garage.

Widdrington Station and Stobswood: Mrs Leigh Escott, Oaklands, Mile Road, Widdrington Station, construction of four detached bungalows and new garage to replace existing.
