The following planning applications have been submitted to Northumberland County Council.

Ellington and Linton: Mr Chris Sanderson, South Linton Farm, Linton Lane, extension and conversion of outbuilding to kitchen, day room, utility, WC and larder and garden room added to side elevation.

Hebron: Laidler Bros (c/o George F. White), land north of Hebron Hill Farmhouse, Hebron, Certificate of Lawfulness – proposed use to demonstrate commencement of development is lawful (11/01543/FUL).

Heddon-on-the-Wall: Mr Graham Mellstrom, Baysleap Dairy Farm, Heddon-on-the-Wall, proposed milk and cheese processing plant, cafe and interpretation centre.

Matfen: Mr Rod Gallagher, 1 The Green, Matfen, erection of agricultural fence and new timber entrance gates to gable of property.

Mitford: The Enviroment Agency, land south east of Lightwater Lodge, Mitford, variation to condition 2 (approved plans) from planning approval 12/02740/FULES – upstream flood storage area which is part of a Flood Alleviation Scheme for the town of Morpeth.

Ponteland: Mr Philip Lewis, 61 Western Way, Ponteland, demolition of existing dwelling and sub-division of plot for the erection of two two-storey dwellings with detached garages and associated accesses; Mr David Clark (Dobbies head office), Dobbies Garden Craft Centre, Street Houses, Ponteland, external free-standing 6m gantry sign to entrance of site; Mr G. Emmerton, 4 West Thorn Farm, West Thorn, Kirkley, construction of garage and extension to driveway; Mr Anthony Jones, 37 Meadow Court, Darras Hall, Ponteland, application to fell four Scots pine trees; Mr and Mrs John Johnson, 5 Ashdale, Ponteland, proposed kitchen extension, new garage, extended driveway, porch and pitched roof to existing garage; Mrs Laura Ruxton, Penny Hill Cottage, Ponteland, two-storey extension to join Penny Hill Cottage to adjacent outbuilding (Penny Hill Laundry).

Stamfordham: Mrs Rosemary Swinbourn, 14 Grange Road, Stamfordham, replacement of existing fence.

Ulgham: Mrs Janine Pyke, Rose Cottage, Ulgham, first floor extension and erection of a detached garage in rear garden.

Whalton: Mr P. Scrope (Smiths Gore), Whalton Forge, works to trees in a conservation area – pollarding to 8m to one Lime tree (T1), remove one Sycamore tree (T2), pollard to 8m, remove epicormic growth at base and crown raise to give 3m clearance over footpath to one Lime tree (T3) and crown lift to give 3m clearance over footpath and 5m over road, remove epicormic growth at base and remove major deadwood from crown to one Lime tree (T4); Mrs Lesley Scott (Isos), land north east of 8 Manor Close, Whalton, works to trees in a conservation area – fell one Cherry, fell one damaged Rowan, crown lift one Birch to give 4.8m clearance over highway, crown lift two Cherries to give 4.8m clearance over highway, crown lift one Maple to give 4.8m clearance over highway, crown lift one Chestnut to give 2.5m clearance over path and 4.8m over highway, crown lift two Chestnuts, two Cherries and two Maples to give 2.5m clearance over path, crown clean one Maple, remove dead wood.
