Planning bids in for consideration

THE following planning applications have been submitted to Northumberland County Council.

Ellington and Linton: Mr Michael Richardson, 4 Mill Farm, Ellington, ground-floor extension, first-floor extension, conversion of garage and construction of new detached garage; Mr David Knox, Travarian, Front Street, Ellington, Tree Preservation Order application to fell one willow.

Longhirst: Mr David Dungait, land north west of Longhirst Village, Hedgerow Removal Notice, removal of 167m of hedgerow; Mr Christopher Lediard, Croft House, works to trees in a conservation area, fell four larch and one oak.

Mitford: Mr David Saunders, 55 Fontside, non-material amendment to application 13/01120/FUL (change materials of dormer window from tiles to plastic cladding).

Morpeth: Mrs Val Adair, 6 Norham Drive, Stobhill Manor, Tree Preservation Order for removal of one larch and replace with smaller tree; Mr Andrew Wade, 6A Manchester Street, advertisement consent for one non-illuminated fascia sign, one non-illuminated services board and one non-illuminated hanging sign.

Mrs Carol Routledge, Ingleside, 24 Thorp Avenue, proposed flat to pitched-roof conversion of detached single garage, including raising height to provide storage space; Mrs E Stewart, 42 Spelvit Lane, High Church, retrospective, treehouse within existing willow.

Mr Mark Wiseman, 20 Southgate Wood, Tree Preservation Order, fell lawson cypress and crown lift yew/beech trees 1m.

Mrs Natalie Caisey, 40B Newgate Street, advertisement consent for the installation of a flat exterior sign on yard brick wall; Mrs Natalie Caisey, 40B Newgate Street, change of use from A1 shop to B1 and D1 to include children’s birthday parties.

Netherwitton: Mr David Ronn, land east of Witton Shield House, Pigdon, outline consent to convert workshop and extend to form ancillary accommodation with separate garden area.

Ponteland: Mrs Angela Priestly, 44 Dunsgreen, Darras Hall, single-storey rear extension; Galliford Try Partnerships, Mill House, West Road, construction of 18 new dwellings and associated access, landscaping and engineering works.

Mrs Clare Stagg, 29 The Rise, proposed two-storey rear extension, loft conversion, double garage, garden room and boundary wall with gates; Mr Adrian Hughes, 74A Western Way, Darras Hall, conversion of single-storey bungalow into two-storey dwelling, with rear extensions; Mr Paul Schofield, Chestnut House, 1 The Old Orchard, Tree Preservation Order, removal of 10 leylandii trees; Mr Nick Hart, land north west of Pine Dene, Eachwick, erection of steel portal framed agricultural building.

Stannington: Mr Peter Candler, land east of nursery gardens, The Gardens, demolition of two vacant former gardeners’ cottages and construction of high status single dwelling in a large garden plot, with continued use of nursery garden.

Wallington Demesne: Mr C Snowball, The Chapel, Middleton, variation of conditions 3, 6, 7, 10 and 11 of CM/20100250 (conversion of disused chapel to create a single dwelling together with associated landscaping works and revised access).
