The following planning applications have been submitted to Northumberland County Council.

Hartburn: Mr and Mrs Paul Miller, land east of Angerton Station, construction of an equestrian arena with a sand and fibre riding surface – size 20m x 40m – bounded by a post and rail fence (change of use from a grazing paddock).

Hepscott: Mr Dixon, Maple Lodge, Hepscott, Tree Preservation Order application to fell five pine trees and replant with different species.

Lynemouth: Ms Christine Elliott, 8 Boland Road, create new bedroom and bathroom on existing first floor, with the installation of a new window to the first floor front elevation and an obscure glazed window to the first floor rear elevation, and change the conservatory roof from clear polycarbonate to tiles to match the existing roof.

Mitford: Mr and Mrs Frank Cockburn, Upper Clifton Cottage, listed building consent application for new double glazed windows and doors and new wall vents.

Morpeth: Mr Nigel Stout, 7 Swinton Close, Stobhill Manor, extension to existing property consisting of a new first floor bedroom and en-suite bathroom to be built over the top of the double garage; Mr John Cook, land north and south east of Springfield House, Saggerston Close, construction of a three-bedroomed house, a new driveway and associated services, and boundary treatment and infrastructure

Ponteland: Mr Gurdev Kular, 43 Willow Way, Darras Hall, retrospective – construction of a single storey side extension; Mrs Gemma Perez, 10 Richmond Way, Darras Hall, two-storey side extension, single storey rear with lean-to roof and new front porch; Mr and Mrs Stephen Sturgiss, 61 Whinfell Road, Darras Hall, proposed erection of entrance gates and pillars at front and side entrances; Mr and Mrs Peter Edwards, 6 Willow Place, Darras Hall, proposed two-storey rear extension, bedroom extension over existing garage at front and construction of new entrance piers and gates

Stannington: Mrs Jane Caufield, land north west of 75 Station Road, outline application for a single storey dwelling; Mr Peter Candler, land east of Nursery Gardens, The Gardens, construction of two dwellings in a large garden plot with renewed landscaping.

Tritlington and West Chevington: Mr Paul King, land north west of Home House, Causey Park, construction of sectional steel shed for the repair of caravan and motorhome shower trays.

Whalton: Mr Geoffrey Bird, Moore House Lodge, works to trees in a conservation area (fell a leylandii hedge).
