The following planning applications have been submitted to Northumberland County Council.

Hebron: Mr and Mrs Humble, land east of The Blossom, Fairmoor, erection of one residential unit (C3 use) and associated access and parking.

Hepscott: The occupier, South Lodge, South Lodge Wood, Tree Preservation Order application – crown lift protected horse chestnut to approximately 8m to stop branches causing damage to property.

Longhirst: Miss Alice Hunter, 9 Longhirst Village, proposal to replace four timber framed double-glazed windows, renew back door and frame and renew/repair part of woodwork.

Morpeth: Mr Phillip Cafferty, formerly The Black Swan, Shields Road, Stobhill, change of use from vacant public house first floor function room into fitness class studio/workout area; Mr Benjamin Maxted, Percy Cottage, Percy Court, notification of works to trees in a conservation area – remove a willow tree, crown reduce by up to three metres and thin by five per cent a cherry tree and remove one limb over gutters of house from a cherry tree.

Stannington: Mr John Tuton, 14 Eden Walk, St Mary’s Park, extension to utility room, glazed extension to reception room, porch extension to the front entrance and part conversion of garage to provide a family room.

Tritlington and West Chevington: Mr Stephen Thompson, land north east of Gorfenletch Cottages, Fenrother, provision of a greenhouse.

Wallington Demesne: The National Trust, Westwood Cottage, Wallington Courtyard, listed building consent for change of use from holiday cottage to office use associated with management of the estate.

Whalton: Mr David Storey, Startup Farm, Shilvington, proposed general purpose agricultural building.
