The following planning applications have been submitted to Northumberland County Council.

Heddon on the Wall: T. Tulip and Sons Ltd, Tulips Yard near The Towne Gate road, proposed erection of four dwellings on a brownfield site following the demolition of what was previously a haulage yard.

Hepscott: Mr and Mrs Clarke, Hepscott Hall, Side Lane, Certificate of Lawfulness of existing use for a swimming pool.

Longhirst: Mr Stephen Cowell, Cricket Pavilion, Longhirst Hall, retrospective application for a change of use for former cricket pavilion into office accommodation.

Longhorsley: Enviro Property Partners Ltd, land west of Whitegates, outline application for the erection of approximately 33 residential units (including affordable homes).

Matfen: Mr Jonathan Forty, Butcher Hill Farm, conversion of existing stone barns to two residential dwellings, extension to farmhouse, construction of stable block and ancillary buildings and change of use of field to rear so it can be used as a menage.

Mitford: Mr Neil Pickerill, NPIL Pharmaceuticals UK Ltd, Whalton Road, extension to building to house process and ancillary equipment.

Morpeth: Mr David Plews, 24 St Marks Street, High Stanners, proposed garage extension to the gable end of the property and the existing garage area would be converted into living space, including new flue pipe.

Ponteland: Dr Janet Welsh, 73 Dunsgreen, proposed extension to existing ground floor kitchen and garden room and new bedroom with en-suite over garage; Mr and Mrs Sandhu, 6 Tudor Court, Darras Hall, proposed front and rear extension; Mr Jim Richardson, Ponteland Police Station, 20 Bell Villas, change of use to office; Ms Naomi Robson, 1 Grange Road, loft conversion with dormer extensions, patio and french doors to first floor; Mr Barry Black, 5 Riverside, Darras Hall, Certificate of Lawfulness of proposed use for single storey rear extension.

Stamfordham: Mr Semore Kurdi, Bay Horse Inn, Southside, listed building consent application – conversion of existing pub into three dwellings, including alterations and refurbishment; Mr and Mrs John Dodd, Hawkwell House, Hawkwell, listed building consent application – installation of shower room extractor fan vent in north gable wall.

Thirston: Mr Mark Barr, Ivy Cottage, West Thirston, works to trees in a conservation area – felling of one Conifer tree, one Silver Birch tree and one Common Ash tree because of excessive shading, among other reasons.
