Planning bids to council

THE following planning applications have been submitted to Northumberland County Council.

Acklington: Mrs J Halliwell, 5 Bank House Cottages, first-floor rear extension, re-submission of A/2011/0021.

Belsay: Mrs J Howarth, Bolam Hall, Bolam, proposal to construct a new orangery.

Ellington and Linton: Mr Leslie Binks, 2 Mile Beach Court, Windmill Hill, Ellington, variation of condition 3 (change of brick from Ibstock Manufacturing Birtley Old English to Hoskins Brick Flemish Antique) of permission 11/00179/FUL.

Longhirst: Mr Andy Forman, 7 Longhirst Village, proposed single-storey rear extension, replacement sliding sash windows to front elevation; also Listed Building Consent; Mr Anthony Alexander, 6 Micklewood Close, retrospective, construction of shed; Mr Matthew Pratt, 9 Micklewood Close, retrospective, construction of shed.

Longhorsley: Mr Billy Maguire, Forget-Me-Not Holiday Park, application to enable existing caravan park to be operated on a year-round basis.

Matfen: Mr and Mrs Urwin, High House Farm, change of use of existing agricultural building to residential.

Mitford: Mrs Susan Leffers-Smith, land west of Bramblings, Tranwell Woods, outline application for construction of a single detached dwelling house.

Ponteland: Mr R Cameron, 24 Edge Hill, Darras Hall, demolition of post-war bungalow to be replaced with new build four-bedroom family home; Mr and Mrs Graham Sparshott, 112 Edge Hill, Darras Hall, proposed family room extension; Mr Robert Miller, land north-east of Herdsmans Cottage, Kirkley, non-material amendment to permission 13/01935/FUL (demolition of tractor shed and erection of new classroom block with a new courtyard landscape, erection of modern tractor shed and sub-station).

Stamfordham: Stone Homes, land south of Hawkwell Farm House, Hawkwell, change of use from agricultural land to residential garden with hedgeline to mark boundary.

Tritlington and West Chevington: Mr Tim Hague, Beechcroft, Fenrother Lane, Fenrother, extending of the current household, two-storey side extension and one-storey extension to rear, remodelling of ground floor to allow more open-plan living, also to improve the appearance of the front elevation to natural stone, all extensions will be rendered and have stone heads, cills and quoins installed so they match the new stone principal elevation.

Whalton: Mr Stewart Todd, Granary Cottage, Shilvington, proposed single-storey extension to form habitable room; also Listed Building Consent.

Widdrington Station and Stobswood: Mr Neil Seymour, Oakwood, Grangemoor Road, Widdrington Station, construction of two dwellings.
