Plans submitted to the council

The following planning applications have been submitted to Northumberland County Council.

East Chevington: Mr Thomas William Griffiths, 6 Bank Top, Main Street, Red Row, utility and downstairs toilet to front elevation.

Ellington and Linton: Mr Howard Wiedman, 33 Mill Farm, Ellington, construction of a wooden summerhouse on an existing piece of hard-standing.

Heddon On The Wall: Mrs Danielle McInnes, 276 Hexham Road, extend living area to be in line with current extension (external measurement 3.4m), internal wall removed to create open plan kitchen/diner, pitched roof.

Longhirst: Mrs Christine Tate, land north east of Potland Farm, change of use to provide an additional 100 static caravans.

Lynemouth: Mr Anderson, 12 Park Road, take down conservatory and replace with living room extension at front.

Mitford: Mr Sheldon, Ash Tree House, Tree Preservation Order, fell one birch next to boundary fence between Ash Tree House and 18 Fontside; Mr Miles Hewitt, The Plough Inn, change of use from public house to dwelling.

Morpeth: Mr M Symm, High House, High House Road, proposed general purpose barn, stables and exercise arena.

Ponteland: Mr and Mrs A Riddell, Oak View, Kirkley, ground floor extension to side elevation and new pitched roofs in place of felted roofs.

Mr and Mrs T Austin, 26 Whinfell Road, demolition of dormer bungalow and replacement with house.

Mrs Denise Harrison, The Beacon, West Thorn, Kirkley, construction of detached triple garage.

Mr Jim Richardson, 31 Runnymede Road, two storey extensions to front and rear and loft conversion.

Mr Jon Kasili, 7 Moor Lane, extension to create first floor level.

Mr Graeme Shield, West Thorn Farm, West Thorn, Kirkley, variation of condition 2 (approved plans) of application CM/20100399.

Mr Simon Fox, 55 Middle Drive, construction of first floor to single storey dwelling, including balcony and associated external works, and construction of a new boundary wall and gates to front.

Mr Terry Baines, 81 Dunsgreen, non-material amendment to permission 13/01963/FUL (proposed garage extension and two storey extension over existing garage).

Stannington: Mr Martin Drake, Ashpool House, replacement of brick/softwood front porch with oak frame and panel/glazing unit, slate roof covering to be reclaimed and used on new porch, re-positioning of ground floor window on east elevation to facilitate revised dining room and utility layout.

Banks Mining, Shotton Opencast Coal Site, non-material amendment of permission 12/01217/VARCCM (re-submission, variation of conditions 1 (approved drawings), 31 (operational hours) and 79 (restoration details) for application 11/02248/CCM), amendment is for a temporary increase in the number of laden HGV movements leaving the site for a period of three months from 190 to 215 movements per day.
