FUN for all the family is once again on offer at Ponteland Party in the Park.
This year, a well-known Punch and Judy man, Tony James, will provide lots of laughs and music on the main stage comes from the Ponteland Community Band and Darras Hall First School Choir.
The 2013 theme is ‘bugs in the park’ and the Friends of Ponteland Park have invited an expert to talk about insects at the flower meadow.
Usual attractions include a bouncy castle, fire engine, barbecue, tea tent and range of games.
The event, which runs from 1.30pm to 5pm on Sunday, is organised by the four Ponteland churches and committee member Andy Anderson said: “Once again, we’ve received a lot of support from groups such as the scouts, lions and rotary.”
Entry is £1 and £5 for large families.
