Police appeal after cannabis farm is discovered in Northumberland

A large number of cannabis plants has been discovered in the Hadston area of Northumberland.

At 7.45pm on Monday, police received a report of a cannabis farm at Simonside Crescent.

Officers attended the scene and found around 250 plants, which were then safely removed from the premises.

Inquiries are on-going to identify those involved.
