Range of planning proposals lodged with county council

The following planning applications have been submitted to Northumberland County Council.

Lynemouth: Ms Jan Clark, 3 West Market Street, retrospective application for an ATM upon front elevation.

Morpeth: Mr Graeme Stock, 2 Upper Fenwick Grove, proposal for the remodelling of existing building including removal of redundant chimney and replacement of structural beam, relocation of entrance door to improve access, creation of additional en-suite bathroom, removal of existing attached garage and replacement with larger detached garage and replacement and re-sizing of upper storey windows on the west and south elevations.

Ponteland: Mrs Georgina Scott-Batey, Rook Matthews Sayer, Ash House, Bell Villas, change of colour to the exterior shop front to a very dark blue, including painting the window frames above on the first floor in the same colour to show consistency in the building, replace the current square hanging sign with a contemporary lozenge sign, install panelling/cladding to the outside to improve the look of the windows, add a matching pillar on the side of the main door that is missing one and advertisement consent for a company logo on the existing fascia board for the building; Mr Ron Bowey, land east of South Coldcoats, conversion of agricultural building into a residential property; Mr Rudi Wright, 33 Darras Road, Darras Hall, roof space extension and ground floor extension for new garage; Mrs Maria Shuttleworth, 71 Dunsgreen, replace garage and porch flat felt roof with pitched roof and rooflights; Mr J Moore, East Barn Site, Stamfordham Road, prior approval for the change of use from agriculture to residential and associated building works.

Thirston: Mr David Rodgers, land within Tanglewood, Kennel Wood, Eshott, change of use and alterations/extensions to existing freestanding garage to create new dwelling and construction of new freestanding garage.
