Northumberland’s newest zoo is preparing for spook-tacular events for Hallowe’en.

Some of the animals at Eshottheugh Animal Park have already been treated to some pre-Hallowe’en fun and have been given pumpkins to play with.

From October 26 to November 1, visitors will be able to take part in a pumpkin treasure hunt with pumpkins hidden around the park and then enter a draw to win prizes.

Once Hallowe’en is over, the park will accept any old pumpkins as the animals love playing with them and eating them.

Eshottheugh Animal Park is located five miles north of Morpeth, just off the A1. It is open seven days a week. For more information visit www.EshottheughAnimalPark.co.uk or call (01670) 787778.
