Team make a splash for good causes

A GROUP of Morpeth children made a fund-raising splash for a county service.

The team, led by Katie Cook, took part in the Morpeth Lions’ sponsored Swimathon event. Half of the money they raised went to the Lions and they decided to donate the other half to the Northumberland Sensory Support Service (Hearing Impaired) for family activities.

Katie was born profoundly deaf and has a cochlear implant.
