Patrick Booth’s KEVI team beat their own record with 217 lengths, seven more than last year, in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust. Three other teams achieved over 150 lengths — Morpeth ASC and two teams from 23 Cosmetics, who were raising money for the NE Children’s Cystic Fibrosis Trust and the British Heart Foundation. Other teams came from the 4th and 6th Morpeth Scouts, 4th Morpeth Guides, 4th and 6th Morpeth Cubs, Contact, Morpeth Town Council, the Northumberland Special Olympics Club and the Lions and partners. Thanks were given to the teams, sponsors, Schweppes Coca Cola and Northumberland Hospital Radio.
