MORPETH Herald readers are being given the chance to shape the future of their favourite local newspaper.
New technology and extra demands on people’s time have brought the way local news is presented into sharp focus.
And we want readers to be at the forefront of any changes.
“The Herald has been an important part of the community in Morpeth and surrounding areas since 1854, so it is vital that the community dictates how their newspaper should move forward,” said current editor Paul Larkin.
“This is your newspaper and I want to hear what you think about it and in which direction you want it to go.”
The Herald is holding an editor’s phone-in this evening between 6pm and 8pm to give you the opportunity to have your say. Ring the editor and the Herald team on 01670 517171 and help us deliver what you want to see in your local newspaper.
Is the Herald essential reading in your household? If not, why not?
What is good or bad about the newspaper and how can it be improved? Which extra features would you like to see included?
Would you like to see the Herald become compact in size?
We look forward to your call and to talking to you.
