BUS passengers in Northumberland have the chance to reward those who go the extra mile to add more joy to their journeys.
Arriva Buses is seeking nominations for drivers, depot workers or customer service staff who have gone out of their way to help members of the public.
The company plans to recognise the staff as part of National Customer Service Week, which runs until Sunday.
The nominated Bus Heroes will be presented with a prize, while the people who make the wining nominations will receive free Arriva bus travel.
Marketing Manager John Fozzard said: “We’re delighted that our bus drivers and other members of staff are often singled out by our customers for going beyond the call of duty and we want to formally recognise these individuals’ contributions.
“Our bus drivers have received a wide range of commendations for going out of their way to help customers and these are the kinds of stories we want to hear about.”
