Variety of plans are put forward to the council

THE following planning applications have been submitted to Northumberland County Council.

Ellington and Linton: Mr Michael Taylor, 7 Lynemouth Road, Ellington, proposed construction of single storey rear extension; Mrs Nicola Trueman, 7 The Elms, Ellington, Tree Preservation Order application to fell one silver birch, stump to remain.

Hartburn: Mr Matthew Fenwick, land north west of Angerton Steads, prior notification for a general purpose building; Meldon Estates, Needless Hall Moor, proposed steel portal framed sheep shed/secure store measuring 54.9m x 13.725m x 4.5m average height to eaves.

Heddon On The Wall: Mr T Blackburn, land south east of Birks Cottage, Birk Road, prior notification for a steel portal framed monopitch building with Yorkshire board walls.

Hepscott: Mr and Mrs George Scott, 3 Field House Close, demolish existing house and construct new dwelling with detached garage; Mr Johnny Wearmouth, Rose Cottage, Barmoor, two storey extension; also Certificate of Lawfulness for construction of single storey extension; Mr and Mrs Derek Huntley, Langdale, demolish existing house and loose boxes and create new two storey house, separate garages and modify gated entrance.

Longhirst: Mr and Mrs Will and Dawn Benson, South Lodge, proposed internal alterations/adaption to enable disabled use, alterations to window opening to west elevation, re-establish bathroom window to north elevation and installation of roof light, installation of external boiler, re-submission of 13/00154/FUL; also Listed Building Consent.

Matfen: Mr Ian Howson, land north west of Kearsley Farm Cottage, Kearsley Farm, build a semi-detached residential property to house agricultural workers to replace static caravan which is no longer fit for purpose, to comprise of one four bed unit and one two bed unit; Jennie Johnson, land at Matfen, reconductoring of 14 spans of open wire LV network with aerial bundled conductor in or near Matfen, realignment of the LV line to Low Hall in order to remove two poles and travel a straight route.

Morpeth: Mr Suchittra Nadon, 12A Newgate Street, advertisement consent, one illuminated projecting sign and two hanging signs for advertisement of first floor business.

Ponteland: Mr and Mrs Andrew Wallace, 4 Ashdale, construction of lounge, kitchen, bedroom and garage extension; Mr Wayne Stewart, 11A Rowan Drive, variation of condition 2 of permission 11/00337/FUL (replace extant permission in order to extend the time limit for implementation: CM/20080200, construction of two storey dwelling), removal of an integral garage and changed to living accommodation.

Whalton: Mr Charles Errington, Ogle Flatts Farm, Ogle, construction of equestrian arena with a synthetic riding surface with a post and rail fence.

Widdrington Village: Mr T Ledger, Druridge Farm Cottages, Druridge Bay, variation of condition 3 relating to application 05/D/817.
