WATCH: A juicy Easter Monday treat for children

An Easter tradition going back hundreds of years brought out the crowds in Morpeth on Monday as dozens of oranges were dished out.

Representatives from Morpeth Town Council handed out the fruit in the children’s play area at Carlisle Park.

This was followed by traditional boolin’ and jaapin’ children’s games organised by Active Northumberland.
