Herald photographer Jane Coltman captured the thrill of the Morpeth Town FC victory parade.
The FA Vase winners toured the streets on an open-top bus as part of Morpeth Fair Day, to the delight of many thousands of cheering fans.
Ian Leech, a member of Morpeth Town Team, which organised the open-top bus parade, said: "It was an absolutely fantastic occasion the like of which Morpeth has never seen before.
"I was lucky enough to be on the bus and it was amazing to see people lining the route from the railway station where the parade began right into the Market Place where the crowds were just overwhelming.
"As we passed along Bridge Street, I could see people crying with emotion, cheering and applauding the team for their wonderful victory at Wembley.
"It was a fantastic turn-out and standing on the entertainment stage, all you could see down Bridge Street was a sea of happy faces. It was an incredible sight that will live for a long time in the memories of those who were there."
