COLOURFUL headwear was sported at a Morpeth shop in aid of a Stannington-based autism charity.
The annual National Wear a Tea Cosy on Your Head Day is organised by White Stuff to raise money for good causes.
Customers were asked to attend special events at branches across the country, knit their own tea cosy and tag themselves wearing them on the company’s Facebook page.
Manager of White Stuff’s Morpeth store Adam Savage said: “There was a good attendance on the day and quite a few customers got into the spirit of the event by coming in with a tea cosy on their head.
“We’re pleased that by holding this fun event we have been able to support The Toby Henderson Trust, which is an excellent charity.”
