YOUNG model citizens will be strutting their stuff next month, as they vie for a place in the glittering finale of Miss Northumberland, to be held at a hotel near Morpeth in June.
The second heat of the regional competition, organised by One Voice Productions and backed by Northeast Press’s Northumberland titles, will be held at The Wellwood in Amble on Wednesday, May 4, at 6pm.
Girls aged 17 to 24 will try their best to impress a panel of judges before a winner and four runners-up are chosen to go through to the final at the Macdonald Linden Hall Golf and Country Club on June 3.
Kerri Turtle, operations and events manager for the Wellwood and Zecca said: “The Wellwood in Amble is thrilled to be hosting the next heat of Miss Northumberland. As Amble’s newest boutique bar and restaurant, it is great to be able to align with such a great showcase event for Northumberland.”
Vanessa Elliott, owner of sponsor Dreamgirlz Extensions said: “We are thrilled to be sponsoring Miss Northumberland, it’s a super opportunity to highlight all our talent and a life changing experience for the lucky winner.”
The contest is sponsored by Dreamgirlz Extensions, Impari, Macdonald Linden Hall Golf and Country Club, MetroCentre, Metro Radio and The Wellwood.
