Hepscott WI

April is time for the AGM at Hepscott WI and President Lynda Wadge blew out the cake candles to mark our eighth birthday.

We were joined by WI Adviser Brenda Houlison to preside over the meeting. The committee agreed to stand again, joined by Irenee Cowans. Secretary Carol Reed gave an interesting presentation to remind members how busy they had been. As part of the WI centenary year, there will be a Fifty Shades of Green exhibition near Northallerton, and members will visit and admire our President’s contribution to a wallhanging.

The competition was an arrangement of Fifty Shades of Green in a Teacup. First prize was awarded to Margery Tate.

Our next meeting is on May 19, at 7.30pm, in the Village Hall. Visitors welcome.
