Women’s group volunteer plea

WOMEN in Northumberland are being called on to lend their skills to a sexual violence support project in the county.

Grace, which provides support to female survivors of sexual violence, is looking for volunteers to join the Northumberland Advisory Board.

Members will offer support and advice to staff and trustees, but the role will not involve decision-making.

The charity is keen to attract people who have some understanding of supporting victims, criminal justice, funding streams, voluntary and community sector networks, statutory bodies involved in sexual violence issues, marketing, business planning or outreach work.
