It’s not too late to object to Loansdean development

FURTHER to the excellent letter in last week’s Herald from Dr Jared Johnson (which gave convincing reasons why Bellway’s planned development south of Loansdean should not be allowed), it is still not too late to object.

The initial time limit did expire as Dr Johnson noted, but, as site notices were only posted on February 26, there is a statutory period of a further 21 days until March 18, during which objections may be submitted.

In fact, the planning officer has indicated that he will continue to accept and consider comments from the public up until he prepares his report to the planning committee.

Objections against this unwanted, unjustifiable development can be sent by email to planningcomments@northumberland.gov.uk or by letter to the Strategic and Urban Development Management Team at County Hall.

In either instance, name, address and the application reference 13/000073/FUL should be included.
