REASON: Vote needs an explanation

I would like to ask Ian Lavery, our Wansbeck MP, to write to the Morpeth Herald to explain his reasons for voting against air strikes in the recent House of Commons debate. I was unable to watch all of the debate and therefore do not know if he was called to speak on this occasion.

I am interested to learn of the gentleman’s thinking, or did he just vote instinctively against the Tory Government?
