Fred tees up success for his team

A GREAT performance from a Morpeth school student teed up victory for his team against Ponteland High School in a golf challenge.
King Edward VI High School were the winners in the event at Longhirst Golf Club organised by the Morpeth and Ponteland School Sports Partnership.

And Year 12 Fred Chambers won a year's membership at the club after achieving the best individual gross score of 70.

His other team members were fellow Year 12 Thomas Robinson and Year 11s Alastair Bailey and Lewis Reeves.
