McGorie scoops top goalscorer award

ABOUT 600 people attended Ponteland United Football Club's presentation events as players from all 20 teams were honoured.
Two sessions were needed at the Britannia Hotel near Newcastle Airport to celebrate the annual award winners.

The Senior team's Top Goalscorer was Kevin McGorie, Player of the Season was Liam McIvor and local player Sean Willis was selected by his
colleagues as Players' Player of the Season.

The major award winners for the other teams were as follows.

Top Goalscorers: Matthew Rose, Michael Wood, Jamie Dixon, Rachel Knox, Karl Atkinson, Thomas Brown, Dale Watson, Ryan Landreth, Adam Rose and Giles Temple.

Managers' Players of the Season: Aaron Hadfield, Jack Morgan, Callum Price, Shaun Henderson, Marc Dixon, Thomas Kernon, Lee Ryan, Michael Bowers, Scott Povey, Carmen Gilhespy, Steph Fairburn, Rebecca Ronald, Dale Watson, Chris Shorthouse, Cristian Rodda, Thomas Brown, Stephen Atkinson, Joseph Robinson, Jack Taylor, Harry McKenzie, Ed Lowery, Philip McAreavey and Adam Casey.

Players' Player of the Season: Mason Stephenson, Josh Curry, Thomas Kernon, Alix Bell, Stephen Atkinson, Angus Gunn, Ryan Curtis and Lewis Keating.

Most Improved Players: Nick Watson, Connor Chandler, Chris Hibbitt, Laura Graham, Jack Oakes, Kyle Graham, Ryan Curtis and Jamie Pybus.
