IT was a case of 'goals galore', when Morpeth's own charity football competition got under way again.
Eight clubs contest the Rocky Stone Memorial Cup, which is sponsored by Jennings of Morpeth.
Ox Inn Middleton played host to Wansbeck Riverside Social Club, but the hospitality ended there, as Riverside ran out 7-2 winners with a hat-trick by Matt

Morpeth Chantry got off to a good start when they overcame a youthful Morpeth Swan side 4-1.
Waterford Lodge travelled to white Swan, and won handsomely 6-1, while holders Stobhill Social Club ran out 9-2 winners over Black Bull, with four goals for Ash McAlpine and a trio for Brady Smith.
Tuesday's matches produced still more goals, with the most surprising result being Chantry's 3-1 home defeat at the hands of Black Bull.
The Black Bull lads carried the game to their opponents in the first half and goals by Mark Cameron, Terry Fogerty and Johnny Rees gave them a first half lead.
Chantry perked up in the second half, but could only muster one goal by Matthew Thomas and Bull held on for a convincing victory.
The other Group 'B' match saw Stobhill Social Club having to pull out all the stops to beat Morpeth Swan 3-1.
The goals rained in, in Group 'A' with Ox Inn recovering their form to wallop White Swan 9-2, while Waterford Lodge continued their goal spree with a 6-1 defeat of Riverside SC.
Sunday's results finalised the groups, with Stobhill Social Club winning Group 'B' with an 8-0 slaughter of Chantry.
Morpeth Black Bull pinched second spot with a good 2-0 win over Swan and manager, David Evans must be pleased with his young side's efforts.
Group 'A' was won by Waterford Lodge, who drew 1-1 with Ox Inn. Riverside Social clinched the runner-up spot with a 5-1 win over White Swan.
