Big win for Tavern in top of the table clash

Amble Tavern are the new Morpeth Sunday League leaders on goal difference after they beat Ashington RAOB 6-1.

The Buffs missed the chance to open up a six-point gap as they were three points clear of the Tavern, although they do have games in hand.

Bedlington Social Club are three points behind both teams following a 6-1 victory at Bedlington FC.

There were goals aplenty when Amble Blue Bell took on Stobswood Welfare. It finished 4-3 to the Welfare.

HMP Northumberland are up to fourth after a thumping 6-1 win against bottom side Morpeth Wansbeck and Bedlington Barrington beat Morpeth Shambles 2-0.
