Ex-Services book place in cup final

LEWIN CUP
PEGSWOOD Ex-Services booked a place in the final of the Lewin Cup after they won their semi-final against Bedlington Barrington Arms.
Ross Donnelly and Wyn Fremlin both scored twice and other strikes came courtesy of Ashley McAlpine, Matthew Cummings and Simon Kilpatrick to earn Pegswood a 7-3 win.
Paul Dunn, Chris Hay and Sean Cowell replied for the Barrington. Pegswood now await the winners of the Bomarsund Social Club V Amble Pier 81 semi-final, and the final will take place at Hirst Welfare, Ashington on Apri 29.
DIVISION TWO
In Division Two, River Coquet FC also enjoyed a 7-3 victory, to make it five consecutive wins. Brad McLelland bagged a hat-trick, Jordan Roper grabbed a brace and Liam and Reece Ramsey added the others.
Felton FC halted a run of defeats with a 3-2 win over North End Trap. Jonny Spiers and Stuart Oman scored for the Trap, but Matthew Fowler took the plaudits for Felton as his hat-trick secured the points.
Village Inn, Longframlington maintained top spot in the division with a 3-1 win at Amble Dock Hotel.
